Our SS23 collection “Song to the Siren” is an homage and an open love letter to my hometown and its beautiful but sadly endangered beauty. I’m lucky to come from a small fishing village in northern Spain (Tapia de Casariego) where our lives are intrinsically connected to nature. Unfortunately, this balance is at risk, as the gold greed of a few is trying to open a gold mine that would completely destroy and pollute our home. This collection is about loving and respecting nature, so much that you want to merge with it, and I think this image captures that feeling perfectly.
