As the world moves ahead, what is your take on fashion’s role in contributing to positive change?
I think that continuing to ask ourselves this question is an important start. The fashion industry needs to be more responsible and conscious of its impact on the environment, society and culture. We have a unique perspective on creativity and should be using that to tackle the issues we are facing – sustainability in particular – with positivity and beauty.

What is one trend or article of clothing that will define the coming year?
Buying less and buying better!

What is something you’d love to see in fashion’s future — even if it remains a fantasy?
It feels very far off right now, but being able to congregate and collectively experience those transcendent fashion moments — be it a show, shoot or exhibition — without the weight of border restrictions or fear of infection. These moments are touchpoints for our community, a shared history and important opportunity for exchange across countries and cultures.
