Premiere Classe in the Heart of Paris

Focus

Premiere Classe will be in the heart of the Jardin des Tuileries from 2nd to 4th October.

Premiere Classe is an unmissable meeting point for the world of accessories during Paris Fashion Week. For over 30 years, the event has been presenting the next accessory trends and young designers who are helping to form the future of Fashion. Known for its high-end offering, the event showcases jewellery, shoes, leather goods, textile accessories and other accessories specially selected for their creativity, originality and style.

ANTIPIXELS: an indicator of the reboot of the Fashion industry

After a few months of lockdown, video meetings have become the norm so Premiere Classe wants to celebrate physical meetings and what is real: the antipixel.
Over 3 days and bringing together nearly 250 brands and designers, the event welcomes buyers, the media, purchasing offices, stylists and other professionals in the fashion sector, contributing to its relaunch for 2021.

In collaboration with the artistic agency Tafmag, Premiere Classe will be showcasing a selection of contemporary artists in the Jardin des Tuileries. All open the imagination to different perspectives of the world…The number of pixels indicates the quality of an image. In this age when everything is digital and flawless, and retouching has become the norm, Robert Overweg, Thibault Brunet and Valentin Fougeray transport us to their pixelated worlds where information has become blurred.

These are parallel universes: universes that uber-digitalisation, a common feature of our and future generations, encourage us to discover since we are constantly surrounded by it. Whether through video games, satellite-based apps or “real life” raw materials, everything is a source of inspiration for these 3 artists who are questioning the limits of the virtual world: does it even exist? Or have we succeeded in creating a parallel universe where our imaginations have no limits?

Paris’ trade shows join forces for Paris Fashion Week

In the current exceptional circumstances, Premiere Classe will be welcoming Who’s Next, IMPACT, Man/Woman and Silmo Paris to its edition this October. Together, they will make the Jardin des Tuileries a key meeting point for the Fashion and creative communities. As a result, Premiere Classe will be the most essential event in Paris for the relaunch of the industry.

All safety measures will be implemented according to the new regulations that have been put in place.
The incoming stream of people will be controlled at all entrances and exits to ensure that there are no more than 1000 visitors gathered in the tents at any one time.
