From October 14 to October 17 2021, the 36th international Festival of Fashion, Photography and Fashion accessories will be hosted at Villa Noailles, in Hyères, in the South of France. Founded and led by Jean-Pierre Blanc and presided by Pascale Mussard, the festival promotes and supports, since 1986, international young fashion talents. In 1997, a dedicated contest for emerging photographers has been established. The festival will also celebrate the fifth anniversary of its contest for fashion accessories designers. The Hyères Festival is known as the world most ancient contest for young fashion professionals.
The ten finalists of this edition will present their collection to a global international jury presided by Louise Trotter, creative director of the house of Lacoste. The 2021 jury includes in particular stylist Suzanne Koller, the singer Steve Lacy or designer Tom van der Borght, winner of the previous edition. The contestants will be in competition for the fashion awards : Première Vision Jury Grand prix, Prix Chloé, Prix 19M of CHANEL’s Métiers d’art and Mercedes-Benz Award of the sustainable collection.
