Dover Street Market Showroom in Paris

Focus

From March 5, showcasing their Fall-Winter 2021 collections in our Dover Street Market Paris showroom will be showcasing the Fall-Winter 2021 collection of 5 international designers: Eli Russell Linnetz KIDS (Venice Beach, CA), Vaquera (NY, USA), Victor Weinsanto (Paris, France), and Honey F–king Dijon (Berlin, Germany).

ERL KIDS

ERL brand launches a children’s collection for the Fall-Winter 2021 season. It celebrates the spirit of Americana and Venice Beach, California, and is a natural extension of the ERL universe, which was established when the collection first debuted in January 2020 as part of the Dover Street Market Paris showroom. ERL’s easy and laid-back wardrobe is reimagined in a distinct collection for children ages 2-12, while adopting the familiar sun-kissed fabrics, colors and unisex shapes that are signature to the ERL world and lifestyle.

VAQUERA

Launched in 2016 and collectively designed by Patric DiCaprio, Claire Sullivan and Bryn Taubensee, Vaquera is the beloved and critically lauded NY-based brand that has been breathing new life into and reinvigorating the New York Fashion Industry and Culture at Large. Vaquera is modern punk, it’s fashion as fan fiction, it’s both ends of the lasso – carefree D.I.Y passion and a deep reverence and engagement with fashion and social issues.

“This partnership came at exactly the right time for us. We are beyond grateful to Adrian Joffe, James Gilchrist and everyone at Dover Street Market Paris for seeing the potential in us and offering the tools to help propel us forward. This relationship will provide the structure and resources that we have been seeking for the past few years. We have always had a strong voice and vision but lacked the means to sustain our growth financially. It means so much to work with a company we admire and respect like Dover Street Market Paris and Comme des Garcons. We can’t wait to see what we will accomplish together.” – Vaquera

VICTOR WEINSANTO

Victor Weinsanto, whose namesake line launched in 2020, trained at Atelier Chardon Savard Paris and has worked at Y/Project, Maxime Simoens and Chloeì. He credits two years of working with Jean Paul Gaultier as his most formative experience in the fashion industry, his training as a dancer imbued him with love of performing arts and brought cabaret themes and joyful spirit to his presentations.  For his Fall-Winter 2021 collection, presented online on March 1st within the official Paris Fashion Week Calendar, Victor was inspired by the mythical figures of courtesans.

From Versailles to Venice through the mystical east, these women inspired many great artists and cultivated their extravagant style. Their bold attitude and freedom from the convention is what has drawn Weinsanto to them. Opting for opulent shapes and the eloquence of the silhouette, strong couture looks with the leg of mutton sleeves and intricate corsetry combine with colorful t-shirts in custom-designed portrait print. Weinsanto uses stretch materials for fit and comfort, double pocket detailing and accessorizes with futuristic style bags.  He finishes off his extravagant silhouettes with statement headpieces for his futuristic courtisan.
