Dreaming in sleep is a coincidence; dreaming in life is to think about a goal.

No, I just wanted to live by making things since I was little.
Why do people dream of working in the fashion world?
I guess because it looks like a glittering world.
Do you try to interpret your sleeping dreams?
No, I do not.
Do you get creative ideas from your sleeping dreams?
When I’m making clothes, I sometimes draw patterns in my dreams.
Sometimes I wake up and put apply this to reality.
Have you ever translated a dream into an actual design?
I design with my emotions, so most of my designs are dreams to be positive.

I think about this with every new day. I think it’s a miracle that I’m still alive.
Name someone whose own dreams have inspired you?
YOHJI YAMAMOTO san.
In what moments do you dream best (sleeping, daydreaming, walking)?
A lot of things come to mind when I am walking.
To what extent do you think fashion is about proposing/selling dreams?
I believe that fashion is about making people feel positive, so I make clothes in order to deliver them to each person’s dream. Which is to say, I think it’s not about how much, but about everything.
Do dreams help you understand reality or help you escape it?
They help us to understand, not to escape.
Do you have a dream that remains unfulfilled?
There are many.
What is your wildest dream for the state of the world?
I would like to see a world where all people help each other without discrimination.
What is one dream you would like to achieve this coming year?
Now that I have an atelier in Paris, I would create a store where I can create things entirely here.
