A Conversation with Nanushka
Nanushka, based in Budapest, was founded in 2006 by Sandra Sandor as a womenswear label that has since expanded to menswear. From the beginning, she has applied the Bauhaus notion of “form follows function” – the theme of her final project at London Fashion College – to a wardrobe that spans youthful freshness and polished ease. With emphasis on fabric and craftmanship, the collections stand out for their “Bohemian Modernist” perspective and are underpinned by a conscious approach from sourcing lower-impact materials to engaging the community at large.
