Founded in 1988, SOLID HOMME is the first brand launched by Youngmi Woo. Fashion-forward, the brand overrode the conservative style of the time, and was also the first to offer prêt-à-porter menswear. An elevated wardrobe of technical and casual wear, SOLID HOMME is distinguished by cut and fabrication, and a privileging of old and new. With strong sense of geometry and abstract form—both in silhouette and detailing—the brand has consistently looked to the Bauhaus to inform its collections.
