For Paris Fashion Week, the world’s number one beauty brand returns to a symbolic location in Paris – to make a powerful feminist statement and to advocate for all women with the “Stand Up Against Street Harassment” program

Notably, in a year which also marks the 50th anniversary of the brand’s iconic slogan, “Because we’re worth it”, the show’s theme is an ode to women’s empowerment and diversity that reflects the L’Oréal Paris’ commitment to supporting all women around the world. This central value at the heart of the brand is further embodied by the training program, “Stand Up Against Street Harassment”, designed to fight against street harassment and enable women to be free to walk without fear.

Delphine Viguier-Hovasse, L’Oréal Paris Global Brand President, says, “This year’s ‘Le Défilé’ will be a remarkable platform for women’s empowerment, conveying a strong message of self-worth and disrupting the conventions of typical runway shows by inviting the public to join the Stand Up Against Street Harassment program. Celebrating our feminine and feminist vision, the show will be a rallying cry for all women (and also men) who share these convictions. I am proud to unite our global family of inspirational spokespeople in celebration of these values.”

A diverse and inclusive line-up of the brand’s international spokespeople, including Katherine Langford, Helen Mirren, Camila Cabello, Gemma Chan, Yseult, Nidhi Sunil, Aja Naomi King, Camille Razat, Jaha Dukureh, Liya Kebede, Cindy Bruna, Soo Joo Park, Luma Grothe, Nikolaj Coster Waldau and Marie Bochet walked in the show, continuing the brand’s tradition of bringing its unique vision to the city’s most emblematic sites.

For the fourth time since 2017, “Le Défilé L’Oréal Paris” embraced the synergy between beauty and fashion and share it on a global scale.

The brand has collaborated with iconic and purposeful fashion houses such as Balmain, Elie Saab, Mugler, Issey Miyake, as well as a selection of talented emerging designers such as Koché, Ester Manas and many more.

As the official Beauty partner of Paris Fashion Week, L’Oréal Paris’ continues to democratize fashion and beauty, projecting the excellence and diversity of the Paris Fashion scene all over the world. In-house global makeup maverick Val Garland and global hair guru Stephane Lancien also returned to the show to produce incredible looks with their creative beauty expertise, sharing the most glamorous hair and make-up trends and taking consumers backstage for a behind-the-scenes experience of the season’s hottest new looks.

This bold creative approach is especially relevant this year in the context of the 50th anniversary of L’Oréal Paris’ inspiring slogan, “Because I’m Worth It” – a powerful feminist statement about individual value that has united consumers around the brand. Today, L’Oréal Paris’ continues to pursue a universal vocation: aspiring to stand by every woman, whatever her age and whatever her origin, to believe in her own sense of worth.
