The Federation provides its members with information and advice on economic, social, IP & IT regulations and more specifically those governing Haute Couture and Fashion House activities. Consequently, legal and social commissions represented by legal directors, human resources directors and experts are held. These commissions, which meet on a by-monthly basis, have the following purpose :
to draw up legal tools which may then be communicated to all company members
to prepare negotiations for the Parisian Couture branch with social partners
to oversee awareness initiatives with French, European and foreign public authorities on issues that have a collective interest
For the younger brands, the Federation provides individualized advice and among other things has negotiated preferential conditions with law firms which specialize in creative industries and young companies.
Lastly, the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture runs the Parisian Couture branch and, together with social partners, negotiates the collective convention specific to that.
