Junya Watanabe: Tradition Made New

For the Fall-Winter 2021 collection Watanabe-san focused on making classic menswear styles new. Several of the collection’s pieces feature the lyrics of Loyle Carner’s ‘Not Waving, But Drowning.’

For the Fall-Winter 2021 collection Junya Watanabe collaborated with several brands including Stepney Workers Club (shoes), featuring Loyle’s lyrics embroidered, Mühlbauer (hats), featuring Loyle’s lyrics embroidered, Il Bisonte (bags), Carhartt (jacket, pants) and Levi’s (jeans).

Also, the collection featured musicians album cover artworks from the following artists used as prints: Emapea, Koralle, Stan Forebee, Saib, Yeyts.
